Kat has been a nurse for 8 years, spending most of that time in critical care in which she is nationally certified (CCRN). Her education consists of a Bachelor’s of Arts in Psychology from the University of Oklahoma, a Bachelor’s of Science in Nursing from Auburn University, and she is currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Nursing Education from the University of Wyoming. Kat joined the Sheridan College faculty part-time in the fall of 2018 after discovering a passion for educating new nurses at Sheridan Memorial Hospital. She will continue to work part-time at SMH in the ICU.
