Cheri received her bachelor’s degree in nursing in 2003 from Washington State University. She received two master’s degrees in Business and Nursing, focusing on Healthcare Administration, in 2013.
Much of her career has been spent in the ER, where she started as a core staff member, then as a traveling nurse, and later, as a director. Cheri also spent time on the cardiac floor as a Public Health Nurse and the Director of Nursing for a home health agency specializing in medically fragile children and adults. Cheri also received her certification as a Legal Nurse Consultant in 2017.
Cheri is a Washington state native but relocated to Gillette, Wyo. for six years in the late ’80s and early ’90s. She returned to Gillette in 2017 to be closer to her two young grandchildren, who moved here in 2016. She enjoys crafts, reading, theater, and outings with her grandchildren.
