Lora’s master’s thesis was titled “Assessment of Instream Conditions of Two Deltaic Streams Receiving Treated Municipal Effluent” and led her to a research technician position working on the Environmental Fate and Effects of the Aquaculture Therapeutant Potassium Permanganate, which was funded by the U.S. FDA. She started teaching in 2006 at ASU where she taught courses in Biology, Botany, and Anatomy, and Physiology. Prior to moving to Sheridan, she taught all the Life Sciences courses at the University of Arkansas Rich Mountain.
