Summer Swing ’25

Join us for Summer Swing 2025 on Friday, July 25, outside under the big tent (weather permitting) in Whitney Mall, at 7pm. Free.

Concert will be held in Kinnison Hall if the weather isn’t appropriate for outside.

The Eric Richards Jazz Ensemble (ERJE) presents Summer Swing 2025, a free jazz concert for the Sheridan community. This concert is presented through the generous support of the John B. and Dorothy D. Duncan Foundation, along with the Sheridan College Foundation.

The group will be performing a wide-ranging program of jazz to include original compositions, swing, funk, Brazilian music, standards from the Great American Songbook, and Dixieland. Trombonist/composer/arranger Eric Richards (Director of Bands & Jazz Studies at Sheridan College) leads this ensemble, which is comprised of some of the finest jazz musician-educators in Wyoming, Montana, and Colorado:
