SC Chamber Concert

Sheridan College music presents a Chamber Concert: A Musical Potpourri, featuring the Viol Consort, Flute Choir, and Winds of the Bighorns on Sunday, November 19th at 4pm in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts.

Free and open to the public.

From classical dance to flights of whimsy, the Sheridan College Chamber Music concert has something for everybody. Highlights include Gretchen Morse’s charming “Furry Leaves” as well as rarely heard early 18th-century American music from the Ephrata Cloister in rural Pennsylvania. Winds of the Bighorns will perform the Brazilian composition “Tico Tico,” the Sheridan College Viol Consort will play Anthony Holborne’s glorious depiction of heaven, “Paradizo” and the Sheridan College Flute Choir will present James-Michael Sellers’ beautiful “Snowfall.”
