Student competitors met at the Georgia World Congress Center in Atlanta, Georgia, where the 115 skills and leadership competitions showcased the talents and skills of more than 6,000 students from across the country, competing in a range of technical and service-oriented disciplines. Five SC students qualified to compete, by earning gold medals in the Wyoming competitions in April.

Dr. Walter Tribley, President of Sheridan College, was selected as one of 20 recipients of the 2024 Shirley B. Gordon Award of Distinction by the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society (PTK).
Madison Clarke — a Sheridan College student from Clark, Wyoming — has been named Wyoming’s 2024 New Century Transfer Pathway Scholar. Only one Wyoming student is chosen for this prestigious award each year. This $2,250 scholarship is designed to support recipients who are transferring to a bachelor’s program after graduation.
