World-Class Facilities
The Sheridan College Technical Center houses roughly 52,000 square feet of instructional labs, classrooms and flexible training space for welding, machine tool, diesel and construction trades.
The college has also recently developed the Innovation Center, an advanced manufacturing and construction trades hub, which opened in 2024 and offers state-of-the-art manufacturing equipment, flexible spaces and incubator programs tied to industry and community-based training, as well as the offices for our Commercial Motor Vehicle program.
Together, these facilities reflect Sheridan College’s strategy of aligning CTE offerings with regional workforce demand, equipping students with real-world skills and exposing them to industry-relevant equipment and scenarios.
Finished in the fall of 2024, this is the newest facility at Sheridan College. The space will directly support students in the manufacturing or construction programs and also includes the new Manufacturing Incubator.

The Sheridan College Technical Center serves Welding, Construction, Diesel and Machine Tool Technology students.
The space includes:
- 30 indoor welding stations
- Computer-controlled plasma cutter
- Robotic welder
- Outdoor grinding areas
- 12 CNC Machines
- Lathes, mills, traditional shop
- 3-D Printers
- Zeiss Duramax CMM
- Diesel Hydraulics Lab
- High bay lab with bridge & jib cranes
- Wash bay and components lab
