With Dr. Patrick LaBreck, Director of Intellectual Property and GLD Partners, LP, Los Angeles, CA
Abstract: The patent process can be difficult to navigate especially for early-stage companies with limited capital. This seminar will provide an overview of patent strategy in the biomedical sciences, including a walk through of the patent process, patent timelines, common patent rejections, and adjacent intellectual property topics. The seminar is not limited to biomedical sciences and is aimed to provide general information for people interested in patenting technology.
