Certified Nursing Assistant

Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD) offers a Certified Nursing Assistant program on the Sheridan College campus in Sheridan and Johnson County.

This course prepares students in basic nursing, personal care skills, knowledge of body systems, mental health, social service needs, basic restorative services, resident’s rights, introduction to long-term care, and basic life support (BLS) for Healthcare providers.

In addition, the student will be eligible to sit for the National Nursing Assistant Certification examination.

Two Start Dates: 1/23 & 3/15

Start Date: January 23
Orientation: Jan 23: noon to 1pm. Rm BC134
Online: January 23 – February 26

All Requirements Due: February 26

In-person (SCJC rm.105): Feb 27 and Feb 28-Mar 1 or Mar 2-3
In-person (offsite): Mar 6-7 or Mar 8-9

Labs & Clinicals in Buffalo/Sheridan

Start Date: March 15, 2023
Orientation: 12pm-1pm. Rm BC 134
Online: March 15 – April 23

All Requirements Due: April 23

25-26 or April 27-28
