Certified Nursing Assistant image

Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD) offers a Certified Nursing Assistant program on the Sheridan College campus in Sheridan and Johnson County.

This course prepares students in basic nursing, personal care skills, knowledge of body systems, mental health, social service needs, basic restorative services, resident’s rights, introduction to long-term care, and basic life support (BLS) for Healthcare providers.

In addition, the student will be eligible to sit for the National Nursing Assistant Certification examination.

Course Dates: June 12 – August 4
Orientation: June 12: noon to 1pm. RM BC134
Online: June 12 – July 16
All Requirements Due: July 16

In-person (SCJC RM 105): July 17 and July 18-19 or July 20-21
In-person (offsite): July 24-25 or July 26-27
