Gateway to Adventure

Located in northern Wyoming, Sheridan College is perfectly situated for adventure. We are located at the foot of the Bighorn Mountains with direct access to numerous trailheads for hiking, biking, climbing, running, fishing, hunting, camping, snowmobiling, skiing, snowboarding, and more.

World-famous outdoor spots are also close by, such as Yellowstone National Park, Grand Teton National Park, Devil’s Tower, The Black Hills, and Thunder Basin National Grassland are all within a day’s drive. If you love to hike, climb, camp, hunt, ski, fish, or all of the above, this is the place for you.

Connect with students and faculty who have similar interests in the great outdoors and find new outdoor passions while learning new skills. Create memories that will last a life-time.

The Adventure Outdoor Club

All Sheridan College students, faculty, and staff deserve to have access to outdoor activities, so there are no fees to join the Adventure Outdoor Club. That’s right, it’s FREE!

The Adventure Outdoor Club was created to promote an awareness and appreciation of the outdoor environment and to provide and promote human powered outdoor pursuits for the Sheridan College community. We strive to foster an environment for a community of like-minded individuals to enjoy these adventures together and encourage others to get outdoors!
