Catch a fish on a fly you tied yourself! This class will teach you, step-by-step, processes to tie the most popular fly patterns for the Sheridan Wyoming region. No previous experience required.

Beginning Revit

This is an introductory course in Revit Building Information Modeling (BIM) software. In this course students will learn the Revit (BIM) software program while drawing sample floor plans, elevations, and sections using standard drawing conventions for technical drafting. Students will use the Revit (BIM) to generate perspective views, annotate drawings, and create views.

Intro to Meat Fabrication (butchering)

Ever wondered where certain cuts of beef or pork come from off the carcass? Wonder no more! Learn how to cut and debone a whole carcass into retail cuts of meat.

This course is designed to provide the student with the knowledge and skills needed to break down a carcass safely and proficiently into retail cuts while preventing contamination.

Intro to Trading & Investing

In this hands-on investments course, you’ll collaborate with classmates to actively manage a portfolio of funds throughout the semester while gaining real-world experience in financial decision-making. Students will also prepare and deliver a basic stock pitch, strengthening their analytical and presentation skills. This course is designed to bridge theory with practice, offering a practical foundation in personal portfolio management and market research.

Plains Indian Art History

This course is a survey of the history of American art ranging from traditional tribal art to contemporary American Indian art. There are two options within the course for students to choose from.

  • Option 1: The history of American Indian Art and does not require the work on any art projects.
  • Option 2: Learn the techniques of American Indian art projects and the completion of art projects.

This course is designed to give students an opportunity to enhance their personal wellness through the participation in moderate to vigorous physical activity. This course is designed to complement and enhance biomechanics by focusing on balance, flexibility, and strength. The course will give an overview of different styles of Yoga, its history, and purpose. The postures (asanas), breath and correct body mechanics for each posture will be addressed, along with contraindications and modification for limitations.

Golf For Beginners

This class is designed for beginners, no stress or pressure. Participants will break down the rules of golf, putting, chipping, irons, and drivers. Students also learn the etiquette of the game.
