What is an Apprenticeship?
A registered apprenticeship is a structured training program that allows individuals to gain hands-on experience while earning a wage. Apprenticeship programs at Sheridan College are approved by the Department of Labor and require a partnership between an employer, student, and the College.
Apprentices work full-time, receiving on-the-job training at their place of employment. They then complete related classroom instruction in off-work hours to earn nationally recognized credentials.

Qualification Requirement
To enroll in an apprenticeship program, you must be employed by an approved Sheridan College apprenticeship partner. If a student sponsor employer is not currently registered, they can complete the necessary steps through the Wyoming Department of Workforce Services and join a growing number of companies benefiting from the apprenticeship program.
