Overview
An Applied Science Degree in Agriculture gives you the skills and knowledge to go directly to work after graduation whether you want to start your own business, go back to your home operation, or work in another field within the ag industry. Sheridan College puts a high priority on course work and internships that provide hands-on experience, so you are ready to puts those skills to use immediately. Earning an Associates of Applied Science Degree in Agriculture will prepare you to start your career in agriculture. As a student, you will take foundational classes across all agriculture disciplines then tailor your course of study to your interests and career goals.

World-Class Facilities
The Sheridan College Agriculture programs are thriving and require additional space to serve students. The Mars Agriculture Center provides the College with a 16,000 sq. ft. state-of-the-art building with top-notch learning environments for a variety of disciplines within the Sheridan College Ag Department.
Curriculum
Associate of Applied Science Degree
This program exposes students to classes from a variety of agricultural fields. It also provides the flexibility for Agriculture AAS degree bound students to select courses, with assistance of their faculty advisor, that are most relevant to their future career plans. This is an ideal degree track for those wishing to explore a number of different agricultural-related areas or those wishing to acquire specific and unique skills and knowledge in agriculture.

Agriculture is a major part of Wyoming’s economy, as well as surrounding states, including Montana, South Dakota, and Nebraska. With globalization and sustainability making the agriculture industry increasingly complex, agriculture graduates can find a variety of career opportunities.

Faculty
Sheridan College’s dedicated, experienced, and approachable instructors will guide you through inquiry-based instruction and hands-on, field-based courses, giving you the opportunity to study—and experience—nature.
