World-Class Facilities
Students pursuing programs in the Arts, Humanities, and Social Sciences attend classes located within The Whitney Center for the Arts, a multi-million dollar facility with cutting-edge studios for performing, recording, sculpture, ceramics, painting, and drawing, and the Whitney Academic Center which houses classes in criminal justice, english, psychology, and more.

The Edward A. Whitney Academic Center is the main entrance to Sheridan College, and houses dozens of classrooms, student services offices, and faculty offices, and is connected to the Whitney Center for the Arts.

The Whitney Center for the Arts features a 422-seat concert hall with variable acoustic banners to adjust the sounds reflection and highlight performances in the hall. The changeable proscenium stage has a motorized fly system and an orchestra pit. All college music performances are live streamed to the music YouTube channel with multiple cameras, and multi-channel live recording capability.

The Whitney Center for the Arts includes nearly 60,000 square-feet dedicated to Visual and Performing Arts, two gallery spaces that showcase student and faculty art as well as traveling shows from top artists around the world, and offers ceramics, sculpture, drawing, painting, digital photography, digital media, and printmaking.
