Sheridan College announces Music on the Mall lineup for July 5

SHERIDAN, WY —Sheridan College is thrilled to announce the musical lineup for “Music on the Mall,” a free, family-friendly event kicking off the Sheridan WYO Rodeo week of festivities on Sunday, July 5, from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., under the big tent in the picturesque Whitney Mall in the heart of the Sheridan College campus.

“Music on the Mall” promises to be an afternoon and evening filled with exceptional live music, with a lineup sure to delight audiences of all ages with diverse genres and captivating performances. The event kicks off with the folk stylings of Sheridan’s own Doug Andrews, followed by Montana-based Americana songstress Abby Webster and Her Imaginary Band who went unexpectedly viral with a recording titled “Tall Boy.” Next, will be Knoxville, Tennessee’s Cruz Contreras and The Black Lillies, who have played many of the biggest Americana festivals in the country, and just happen to be passing through Sheridan on their annual tour of the northern Rockies. The evening culminates with a headlining performance by Nashville-based Sweet Megg, a uniquely gifted jazz-trained vocalist who combines her love of jazz with fun, catchy Americana songwriting, delivered by a top-notch band.

In addition to the music, attendees can browse a variety of arts and crafts vendors, savor offerings from local food trucks, and enjoy craft beer from Black Tooth Brewery as well as additional beverages from provided by Sheridan Liquor.

“After such a successful first year, we are very proud to continue to host this community event, and we look forward to bringing together music lovers, local vendors, and families to celebrate the start of the iconic Sheridan WYO Rodeo week,” said Sheridan College president Walt Tribley.
