Friday, June 13:
Move-in day, orientation and read-through.
Saturday, June 14:
Masterclass: The Business of Acting
Full Company Music Rehearsal and Blocking
Week One: Monday, June 16 – Saturday, June 21
Focuses on competitive audition preparation, rehearsal and technical skills.
Mock audition workshop with an industry professional on Saturday, June 21.
Sunday, June 22: Rehearsal 3pm – 9pm.
Week Two: Monday, June 23 – Saturday, June 28
Rehearsing for three performances of “Working,” Friday, June 27 at 7pm and two performances on Saturday the 28 at 2pm & again at 7pm.
Example of a typical Performance Intensive Day:

- Breakfast
- Dance from 9am – 11:00am
- Monologue/Scene/Character Building/Appointments 11:00am – noon
- Lunch
- Blocking, Music Rehearsal, Choreography (different groups working simultaneously with three instructors 1:00pm – 3:00pm.
- We schedule private 1/2 hour voice lessons in preparation for the musical and mock auditions. Small group repetition/practice time when not booked in a voice lesson.
- Dinner
- Full Company Rehearsal 7pm-9pm
Example of typical Tech Intensive Day:
- Breakfast
- Tech Lab 9am – 10:30am Tech labs are training and exposure to the following; Explore The Variety of Jobs, Industry Professional Testimonials, Live Sound Instruction, Projection/Animation, and Color and Lighting.
- 11am Set the day’s on the job training, work, and design.
- Lunch
- 1pm – 5pm Once assigned to a specific department i.e. Sets, Props, Rigging, Lighting, Sound or Projection, you then build cues, set lights, create projection images, and learn how to use the equipment you are assigned to.
- Dinner
- Rehearsal 7pm-9pm with performers learning your cues and equipment. All sets and most all of the props will be in place by the time you arrive June 13. If you are local and would like to be a part of the set building on campus let us know. Sets will be built the week before load in, June 9 – June 13.
