World-Class Facilities
This multi-million dollar Whitney Center for the Arts includes cutting edge studios for performing, recording, sculpture, ceramics, painting, drawing, printmaking and more.
Additionally, the performance hall and galleries serve up a variety of professional concerts and art exhibitions for students and the community of Sheridan.

The Whitney Center for the Arts features a 422-seat concert hall with variable acoustic banners to adjust the sounds reflection and highlight performances in the hall. The changeable proscenium stage has a motorized fly system and an orchestra pit. All college music performances, as well as dance performances, including the summer Broadway Musical Theater Intensive take place on this stage.

Rotating exhibitions of work from leading artists across the country appear in the Edward A. Whitney Gallery, while student and faculty work rotates through the Neltje Gallery upstairs.

Equipped with a new Mac Studio running ProTools and Logic Pro, music students have access to the campus recording studio for projects and in-class learning. The studio is connected to the concert hall (along with visual capabilities) and surrounding recording spaces, with a professional monitoring system. Outboard pro-level preamps and processors, and a Focusrite RedNet Dante system as well as high-end microphones. There are Pearl and Gretsch drum kits as well as Fender, Darkglass, and other guitar/bass amps.

Beautifully lit, expansive studios dedicated to painting & drawing, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, metal foundry, and more.
Sheridan College partners with the WYO Performing Arts and Education Center to provide real-world performance experiences for students. The WYO includes a restored vaudeville mainstage, a black box studio, and a fully equipped dance studio. Students also perform in Kinnison Hall in the Whitney Center for the Arts on campus, as well as a full theater workshop located at the Broadway Center in downtown that includes a costume and sewing room.
