Open Pathway to Accreditation

NWCCD participated in the HLC Academic Quality Improvement Program (AQIP) Pathway to Accreditation from 2005 to 2018.

In spring 2018, the HLC announced the retirement of the AQIP Pathway.  As a result, NWCCD is now participating in the Open Pathway to Accreditation.  The open pathway is focused on quality assurance and institutional improvement, which is the foundation for all planning and ongoing efforts to fulfill NWCCD’s mission of student success.

We document our commitment to continuous improvement in our Systems Portfolio and our Strategic Plan.
