Sheridan College announces students receiving athletic honors

Sheridan College is pleased to recognize students who received athletic honors this year.

Two Generals soccer athletes were selected for All-Region Teams. On the women’s team, Elizabeth Pickett of Ogden, Utah, was selected for the First Team All-Region and Kieli Stults of Cheyenne, Wyoming, made Second Team All-Region. On the men’s team, Marques Scott of Narol, Canada, made the First Team All-Region and Tanner Smith of Northglenn, Colorado, was selected for the Second Team All-Region.

On the women’s basketball team, Madison Roush made First Team All-Region, and on the men’s team, JoVon McClanahan of Vallejo, California, made Second Team All-Region. McClanahan was also selected as the 2020 Outstanding Student Athlete for Sheridan College. Marcus Stephens of Tacoma, Washington, made Honorable Mention All-Region.

In addition, Coby Johnson of Shelley, Idaho, won the Central Rocky Mountain Region in bull riding this year.

“We are so incredibly proud of these students’ achievements,” said Athletic Director Rich “Bubba” Hall. “They are outstanding student athletes and great representatives of Sheridan College in the region.”

NJCAA academic honors will be announced in late June.
