Quiggle named next Sheridan College volleyball coach

The Sheridan College Athletic Department is pleased to announce Casey Quiggle, a veteran volleyball coach with 16 years of experience, as the new Generals volleyball coach.

Prior to joining Sheridan College, Quiggle served as the head volleyball coach at Southwestern Community College in Iowa and as assistant coach at the University of Jamestown in North Dakota. In addition to his experience at the college level, he also held positions coaching for at Aliso Niguel High School, Laguna Beach Volleyball Club and Capo Valley Christian Schools.

Among other accolades, Quiggle achieved three league championship titles and a California Interscholastic Federation title during his time at ANHS. While he was assistant coach at the University of Jamestown, his team achieved a #15 ranking after competing in the Sweet 16 at national completion.

“I’m very excited to welcome Coach Quiggle as the new head volleyball coach,” said Athletic Director Rich Hall. “He has a vast amount of coaching and life experience that will be very valuable to our student-athletes and our Athletic Department.”

Quiggle holds his bachelor’s degree from Central College and an MBA from the University of Phoenix. Most recently, he earned his Master of Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University in 2017.

“I’m excited to take the reins at Sheridan College and confident I can building a winning culture and program,” Quiggle said.

The Generals kick off the 2019-2020 season at the Casper Tournament in Casper, Wyoming. The first home game is Sept. 5 versus Dawson Community College at the Bruce Hoffman Golden Dome.
