Megan Rourke, a tenured member of the Gillette College mathematics faculty, is the Coordinator of the Gillette College Math Center and the lead instructor for the Mathematics for Elementary Teachers sequence. With a strong background in K-12 education from a local to a national level, Megan provides unique insight into mathematics education for GC’s pre-service teachers. She earned a BA in Secondary Education and a BA in Mathematics from the University of Wyoming and a M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction in Mathematics from Chadron State.
Outside of work, Megan enjoys spending time with family and playing in the dirt in her 3000 square foot greenhouse. She grows a variety of vegetables and makes specialty salsas and hot sauces for her local farmer’s market. She is also active on a Relay for Life team fundraising for the American Cancer Society.
