Born and raised in South Dakota, Lisa came to Wyoming to teach in 2005. She has been teaching since 1997. Lisa has three grown daughters and five grandchildren with her husband of 28 years. She advises the creative writing club at Gillette College, What Writers. She loves to read, especially fantasy. Lisa writes a bit when life allows. She spends most of her time not on campus visiting with her mother, spending time with her grandchildren, and husband. Lisa teaches writing, literature, and ethics. She loves to teach logic and writing to her students and facilitate a good discussion. She also loves to explore literature, discuss philosophy and ethics, and see her students explore what they believe in her classes. Lisa’s greatest joy is to help students find a love of learning and move forward with their educational goals.
