Amy Turpin has been a Registered Nurse for 18 years. She practiced in several different states as a Surgical Intensive Care nurse at level one trauma centers before moving with her family to Sheridan Wyoming. She explored education in her role as a Clinical Nurse educator at the local acute care hospital for several years before obtaining her Masters of Science degree in Nursing Education and becoming full-time nursing faculty for Sheridan College. Amy maintains her practice as a Registered Nurse and also teaches American Heart Association and Emergency Nurses Association courses such as ACLS, BLS, PALS and TNCC. She is passionate about the nursing profession, patient-centered care and student success in the real world of nursing. Amy lives in Sheridan with her husband and two daughters. They enjoy the outdoors and staying active as a family.
