The Four Note Opera
Saturday, Mar. 11 at 7 pm in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts.
Written in 1972 by minimalist composer, Tom Johnson, The Four Note Opera is a satiric one hour long chamber work – an opera within an opera – utilizing only four notes! What could possibly go wrong when the singers all try to “take the stage” at once but are only allowed to sing the notes A, B, D, and E?
