Jazz@SC – Fall ’22

The Jazz Ensembles of Sheridan College present our Fall ’22 concert Thursday Nov. 3 at 7pm in Kinnison Hall at the Whitney Center for the Arts, featuring the SC Jazztet combo and SC Jazz Ensemble big band.

The Jazztet is enthusiastically looking forward to their premiere of a new composition created by the members of the group. We’ll reveal the title at the concert! The SC Jazz Ensemble big band will perform a swinging selection of big band jazz covering the styles of blues, cha-cha, shuffle, contemporary ballad, and New Orleans “2nd Line Funk! Our student soloists are ready to display their improvisations for our audience.
