Campus Police

Campus Police Officers at both Sheridan College and Gillette College are Certified Wyoming Peace Officers and hold the same authorities, powers, and responsibilities as Wyoming municipal and county police officers. Each officer trains continuously throughout the year and maintains close working relationships with area police departments, emergency personnel, NWCCD officials, and student life coordinators.

Campus Police Offices, Hours and Contact Information

The Sheridan College office is located in the Thorne-Rider Campus Center. Officers reside on campus in houses adjacent to the Residence Halls. Campus Police service is available 24 hours a day. Additional law enforcement is available from the Sheridan County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Sheridan Police Department.

The Gillette College office is located in room 149 of the Main Building. Officers reside on campus in houses adjacent to the Residence Halls. Campus Police service is available 24 hours a day. Additional law enforcement is available from the Campbell County Sheriff’s Department and the City of Gillette Police Department.
