Who Attends Orientation?
Orientation is required for all first-time college students registered for 6 or more credit hours, all degree seeking students and students returning to college after 2 years.
Why Do I Need to Attend Orientation?
Orientation assists new students with their academic and personal transition into Sheridan College. It is important that new students understand the academic expectations, their personal responsibilities, and the resources available to them for their student success. At orientation you will learn about college expectations and about the online tools you will need including MyCollege, Blackboard and Web Advisor. You will also be given a campus tour, your college handbook and planner, and you can obtain your college ID. If you have selected a college major, you will also meet with your faculty advisor.
