One century ago the “War to end all Wars” was fought, and the world was never the same…

Chemical warfare, unrestricted submarine warfare, the aerial bombardment of cities…The sheer magnitude of the slaughter that attended World War I changed fundamentally the way much of the world viewed warfare. Join us as Mike Walker presents a brief overview of the First World War and its consequences.

***Mike Walker will also be offering a seminar class on this subject this spring. HIST 2490 01, First World War, begins January 22nd, and classes will meet Wednesday evenings from 6-8pm. Registration is open now at www.sheridan.edu. For more information contact Mike Walker; mwalker@sheridan.edu
