Sheridan College to host “Downton Abbey” presentation

On Saturday, Oct. 4, Dr. Walter Nolte will present: “The Historical Context of ‘Downton Abbey:’ 1912-1922,” in the Whitney Presentation Hall at Sheridan College. The presentation will be 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., with refreshments and, appropriately, English scones, served at 10 a.m.

NWCCD earns “Military Friendly” distinction

Sheridan College to host Downton & Denim Banquet

As a fundraiser for the Sheridan College Fine and Performing Arts department, the college will host the “Downton & Denim Banquet,” on Friday, Oct. 3. The event will take place in the Whitney Academic Center Atrium. Cocktails and appetizers will begin at 6 p.m. and dinner will follow at 6:30.

Ucross Foundation to display artwork of Sheridan College instructor

The artwork of Sheridan College art instructor Tawni Shuler will be on display this fall at the Ucross Foundation Art Gallery. Shuler and Patrick Kikut, an academic professional in painting at the University of Wyoming, will present “Western Traces.” The exhibit will run from Sept. 20 to Dec. 19.
