COMPASS

All new students are required to show their math and English abilities by completing the English (writing and reading) and math placement tests before registering for the first time.  If you are a graduating high school senior or a high school student applying for dual/concurrent enrollment you may use your ACT scores for placement.  You must have a minimum score of 23 in Math and a 21 in English.  If you are a transferring student you must show a college level math and or English class on an official college transcript.

Each test is $5.00 ($10.00 total) and a pictured ID and scheduled appointment is required.  The placement tests are not timed and take approximately 2 hours.  The results are immediate and good for one year.  You may take the tests no more than two times.
