- Complete the math and English placement exams. ACT scores may also be used for placement; if you receive a 21 or above in English on your ACT; and a 23 or above in Math on your ACT, you may not need to take a math or english placement exam.
- Meet with a general academic advisor.
- Attend the New Student Orientation. Orientation is required for all first-time college students registered for 6 or more credit hours,all degree seeking students and students returning to college after 3 years. You will receive orientation date and time information after registering.

- Review your degree evaluation.
- Meet with your Faculty Advisor
- Take care of all pre-registration holds before registration opens (i.e. pay all final costs of current semester; return library books; complete orientation).
