Health Care

Health care in the United States is private, and as a result, is very expensive.  Therefore, all international students are required to have health insurance that includes emergency evacuation and repatriation of remains.

The college offers an excellent health insurance policy for approximately $700 annually. You must purchase the health insurance at the beginning of each semester. Canadian students are exempt from this requirement as they have national health insurance. Proof of this insurance, however, must be submitted with the application.

You will receive the necessary health insurance information, including the entire policy and claim forms and directions for filing a claim once you have received your visa and we know that you will be coming.

Immunizations

If you are living on campus, you are required to provide proof that you have been immunized against MMR. It is recommended that you be immunized against hepatitis and meningitis.
