SURVEYING TECHNOLOGY

Sheridan College’s new associate of applied science Survey Technology degree program will make it possible for those who are inter-ested in pursuing a career as a surveyor to sit for the state licensing exam.

In order to bring this program to the state, Sheridan College partnered with the Univer-sity of Wyoming’s Outreach School/College of Engineering. Classes will begin in the spring semester 2007.

The degree program was recently accepted by the Wyoming State Board of Registration for Professional Engineers and Professional Land Surveyors, and was approved by the Professional Land Surveyors of Wyoming.

Sheridan College’s Surveying Technology program is the only degree program of its kind in the state.

Sheridan College looks forward to serv-ing anyone who is seeking an associate of applied science in Survey Technology. Sheridan College has worked hard to ensure our curriculum caters to those who are currently employed in the field, or those who are interested in beginning anew.

Please contact Jim Bennage, the Dean of Ag and Technical Careers at Sheridan College with any questions you may have about our new program.
