Effie Lewis is currently serving as a full time instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. She teaches preclinical and clinical dental hygiene to dental hygiene students enrolled in the professional program. Her teaching responsibilities also include overseeing dental hygiene care for patients on rotations at the Northern Cheyenne and Crow Healthcare facilities. She co- teaches the Clinical Dental Technologies class. Effie has provided quality dental hygiene services and nonsurgical periodontal therapy in various private dental practices. Prior to becoming a dental hygienist, Effie was a licensed expanded functions dental assistant.

Sara Beres is currently serving as a full time instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. She teaches preclinical and clinical dental hygiene to upper division dental hygiene students enrolled in the professional program. Her teaching responsibilities also include dental embryology, histology, and anatomy, radiology, and radiographic interpretation. She also participates in community service and professional activities and is a member of the Wyoming Dental Hygienists’ Association, the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the American Cleft Palate-Craniofacial Association.

Tobin Korsch is currently serving as a full time instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. She teaches preclinical and clinical dental hygiene, Pharmacology, Dental Health Education and Dental Materials to division dental hygiene students. Tobin is actively involved in volunteering and acts as the liaison between the Sheridan College Dental Hygiene Program and the Sheridan Free Clinic. When school is not in session, Tobin has provided dental hygiene services and nonsurgical periodontal therapy in various private dental practices in Wyoming and Montana. She is also certified as a CPR and First Aid instructor for the American Heart Association.

June Biss is currently serving as a full time instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. She teaches clinical dental hygiene to sophomore and junior students, as well as instructing junior students on their clinical rotation to the VA Hospital. Her teaching responsibilities also include periodontology, clinical seminar series, community dentistry, office practice and local anesthesia lab. Since 1988, June has provided quality dental hygiene services and nonsurgical periodontal therapy in various private dental practices. June also serves as the Junior Class Coordinator for the department.

Lacey Sandstrom is currently serving as a full time instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. She teaches preclinic and clinical dental hygiene to first and second year dental hygiene students. She teaches Head, Neck, and Oral Anatomy and Physiology and Clinical Dental Technology to first year students. Lacey has practiced in private, family offices since 2005 in Wyoming and Montana. She is the advisor for American Dental Hygienists’ Association – Student Chapter of Sheridan College.

Janine Sasse-Englert is currently serving as a 65% full time instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. She teaches clinical dental hygiene to students enrolled in the program. Her teaching responsibilities also include General and Oral Pathology, Pain Management, and Board Review. Janine works one day per week as a dental hygienist in a family dental practice in Sheridan.

Patricia Dray is currently serving as a full time instructor in the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. She teaches preclinical and clinical dental hygiene. Her teaching responsibilities also include didactic education (hybrid and online) in ethics and law, special needs and medically compromised clientele, and clinic seminar courses. Patricia is active in the Delta Delta Chapter of Sigma Phi Alpha and has held positions in several professional associations in the U.S. and Canada, as well as past membership in the American Association of State and Territorial Dental Directors (School and Adolescent Oral Health-Best Practices Team).

Jan Dill is currently serving as the director of the Department of Dental Hygiene at Sheridan College. Before becoming the program director, she taught as a full time instructor with teaching responsibilities in radiology, pharmacology, local anesthesia, orientation to dental hygiene, pre-clinic coordinator, head/neck/dental anatomy, histology, and embryology. Since 1994, Jan has provided dental hygiene services in various private and institutional dental practices. She also participates in community service and professional activities and is a past legislative representative and president of the Wyoming Dental Hygienists’ Association. She is a member of the American Dental Hygienists’ Association, and the American Dental Educators Association.
