Rock climbing film tour coming to SC

The 90-minute film chronicles a group of Yosemite National Park rock climbers who, in the 1960s, revolutionized rock climbing into what it is today. The showing will begin at 7 p.m. Admission is free for college students with IDs and $5 for the public.

Sheridan College to name road ‘Chris LeDoux Way’

Recognizing the lasting impact of late country music star and rodeo athlete Chris LeDoux had in Wyoming and across the nation, the Sheridan College Board of Trustees voted on Thursday to name the road leading to the college’s new rodeo arena ‘Chris LeDoux Way.’

Theater Department to present “Dancing at Lughnasa”

The play, written by dramatist Brian Friel and winner of the 1992 Tony Award for Best Play, will have showings at 7:30 p.m., Thursday-Saturday, Nov. 6-8. A matinee at 2 p.m. will also be offered on Saturday, Nov. 8.
