Sheridan College to host “My disability…an incredible journey” presentation
Sheridan College will host guest lecturer Ben D. Anderson on Monday, March 17, from 6-7:30 p.m. inside the Whitney Presentation Hall, room W136.
Anderson will present “My disability…an incredible journey.” The presentation is free and open to the public.
“I live with a disability and it is called cerebral palsy,” Anderson said, according to a program poster. “In fact, I would contend that we all do! It is my privilege to share and dialogue with you concerning the important areas of discrimination, getting an education and misdiagnosis.”
Anderson is the author of “Breaking Through,” “IQ of 63, So What!” and “Last One Picked, So What!”
Anderson’s presentation is sponsored by St. John Newman Club, Student Support Services (TRiO) and the Wyoming Governor’s Council on Developmental Disabilities.
