NWCCD police chief Vela appointed to state civil rights committee

The U.S. Commission on Civil Rights announced in November 15 appointments to the Wyoming State Advisory Committee, including Jason Vela, police chief of the Northern Wyoming Community College District.


NWCCD Campuses Closed for Holiday Break

The Northern Wyoming Community College District campuses will be closed from December 24, 2014 – January 4, 2015 for the winter holiday break. This includes Sheridan College, Gillette College and Sheridan College in Johnson County. Campuses will reopen January 5 and spring classes begin January 21.


Men’s basketball team ready for Region IX action

Head coach Shawn Neary’s squad ranks first in the nation in total points scored this season, at 1,666, according to the NJCAA. The Pronghorns also rank in the top 10 in points per game, field goals attempted and made per game, shooting percentage and assists per game.
