SCHOLARSHIP & GRANT INFORMATION
Annually, NWCCD students utilize an upwards amount of $3 million in financial aid from sources including, but not limited to, the College, trusts, private donors and foundations.
How can you apply for institutional scholarships from NWCCD?
Need help paying for college? Visit AcademicWorks at https://sheridan.academicworks.com to apply for scholarships. Use your MyNWCCD username and password to sign in.
Complete the General Application then search through the list of recommended opportunities to apply to scholarships you qualify for. Additional questions will need to be answered.
Check your school email account and your AcademicWorks profile often so you don’t miss out on any scholarship offers sent to you. Scholarship offers are mailed to student’s preferred mailing address on their student record.
You will need to write a thank you note to the donor in order for your scholarship to be applied to your student account. Check your WebAdvisor account often to see if your scholarship has been applied to your student account and to view your account balance.
Apply every year. The scholarship cycle runs from January 20 through December 31 every academic year. You only need to apply once a year, but do it early – the priority deadline is April 1 for the following academic year.
