The Student Employment Program is designed to help students pursue their educational goals by providing employment opportunities. Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD) offers students the opportunity to work on-campus (off-campus positions may also be available) while attending college.

There are two types of student employment; Federal Work-Study and Non-Work-Study.

 Federal Work-Study

Federal Work-Study is a federally subsidized work program, which provides employment opportunities to eligible undergraduate students with financial need.  To be eligible, a Federal Work-Study award must be included in the student’s financial aid package, which is determined by the Financial Aid Office.

A student who does not receive a Federal Work-Study award as part of their financial aid package, or is otherwise not eligible to receive Federal Work-Study, may be employed under Non-Work-Study.

All students employed under the Student Employment Program are required to be meeting the Standards of Academic Progress as explained in the Student Handbook.
