WELCOME TO THE NWCCD STUDENT EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
The Student Employment Program is designed to help students pursue their educational goals by providing employment opportunities. Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD) offers students the opportunity to work on-campus (off-campus positions may also be available) while attending the college of their choice; Gillette College or Sheridan College.
Students must be enrolled in six (6) credit hours.
Students must meet the Standards of Academic Progress as explained in the Student Handbook.
Students must maintain a 2.0 GPA.
Students when eligible will be employed through the Federal Work Study Program.
The Federal Work Study Program is federally subsidized through the Department of Education. The program provides employment opportunities to eligible undergraduate students with financial need. The Financial Aid office determines the eligibility for Federal Work Study based on the students Financial Aid record including the completion of the FASFA.
