Youth CiViC Project
Youth CiViC Camp is open to all Sheridan County 8th graders going into high school in the fall. It’s 3 nights/4 days up at Camp Roberts at YMCA of the Bighorns and is free.
The week includes discussions, structured activities, outdoor team-building adventures and other small group exercises. Attendees will learn more about themselves and how to work more effectively with others given varied situations.
They will also be given many opportunities to practice and strengthen their communication skills and approaches to dealing with conflict. By the end the week they make strong connections to the other area youth that are invaluable friendships.
