WELCOME TO THE STUDENT EMPLOYMENT PROGRAM
The Student Employment Program is designed to help students pursue their educational goals by providing employment resources. Northern Wyoming Community College District (NWCCD) offers students the opportunity to work on-campus (some off-campus positions may also be available) while attending college.
There are two types of student employment; Federal Work-Study and Non-Work-Study.
Federal Work-Study
Federal Work-Study is a federally subsidized work program, which provides employment opportunities to eligible undergraduate and graduate students with financial need. To be eligible, a Federal Work-Study award must be included in the student’s financial aid package, which is determined by the Financial Aid Office.
Non-Work-Study
A student who does not receive a Federal Work-Study award as part of their financial aid package, or is otherwise not eligible to receive Federal Work-Study, may be employed under Non-Work-Study. The student is paid by college funds.
All students employed under the Student Employment Program are required to be meeting the Standards of Academic Progress as explained in the Student Handbook.
