Sheridan College's Transitional Services Programs assist low-income career and technical education students receive support, advising, financial assistance, job seeking skills, and the education and training they need to be economically self-sufficient and successful in the work world.

Transitional Services Programs (TSP) offers financial assistance and support services to
Sheridan Campus Career & Technical Major Students*various criteria applies
Note: Technical Majors are also referred to as "Degrees and Certificates for Immediate Job Skills" on
the Sheridan.edu Web site.

The programs are state and federally funded through the Wyoming Departments of Education, Workforce Services, and Family Services and may vary in amount of funding and availability from year-to-year.

* Level of assistance is
dependant on where & when funding is available. Degree program must result
in a career that generates above-poverty income. Depending on available
assistance programs, students may or may not need to meet one or more of the
following forms of criteria:
- Single Parents, Displaced Homemakers, Single Pregnant Women
- Income level
- Non-Traditional Major by Gender Students (For example: males in nursing or dental hygiene and females in criminal justice or surveying.)
- Special Population Students (Disabled, low-income, non-traditional major by gender, or a minority.)

and services are funded by (1) Carl Perkins Federal Vocational Education
Grants through the Wyoming Department of Education under the Perkins Act,
P.L. 105-322 and (2) ETSS/TANF Grants through the Wyoming Departments
of Workforce Services and Family Services. As such, they and the Northern
