The week of September 18-23 will be a busy one at Sheridan College. Students, staff, and coaches will be participating in a number of events organized around the celebration of Edward A. Whitney, a man who made it his life’s goal to support higher education in Sheridan, Wyoming.
“It is important that our students learn about the man that made so much possible here at Sheridan College,” said Dr. Leah Barrett, Vice President of Student Affairs. “The vision for Whitney Days includes informative, educational, fun events centered around service learning and civic engagement. We see this happening every year.”
Student activities begin early in the week, and several of the scheduled events are open to the public beginning with a free Whitney Days Open House Wednesday, Sept. 20, from 4-8:00 p.m. in the Whitney Mall on the main Sheridan College campus.
