Technical Education Center

The Sheridan College Technical Education Center provides a state-of-the-art facility for the hands-on learning of technical fields such as Welding, Machine Tool, Construction, Diesel, Electrical, and Industrial Technology. Due to an increased demand for these economically viable programs, the college is currently completing a 13 million dollar renovation and expansion of this facility that will be available to students in early 2018.

Meeting the needs of students and industry

The demands from the Tech Center are vast in the production of tomorrow’s workforce. To assist in the development and expansion of the college’s programs, Sheridan College has committed to a renovation of the Center, predicted to be completed in 2018. The plans, which include 27,000 sq. ft. for instructional space and an industrial training facility, as well as 25,795 sq. ft. of renovated space, will provide sufficient room to increase student enrollment significantly. Thus far, 5,000 sq. ft. have been renovated, and 2,500 sq. ft. has been added for the expansion of the Machine Tool Technology education space.
