Board of Trustees
The Northern Wyoming Community College District Board of Trustees consists
of seven members. Members are elected to staggered four-year terms by the citizens
of Sheridan County. Any person who is a qualified voter in Sheridan County
may be elected to the district board.
The Trustees meet in regular sessions on the third Thursday of each month
with the exception of the month of July. By law all community colleges and
K-12 districts approve their budgets on the third Wednesday of July. The Board
normally meets at 7:00 pm in the Whitney building board room. The Board can
change the time, date, and place of regular meetings as long as public notice
is provided. Special meetings may be called by the Chair of the Board.
